"Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive and then go do that. Because what the world needs is people who have come alive." ~ Howard Thurman

Screen printers guild - http://www.nycga.net/groups/screen-printing-guild/
What is it? Live Silk-screening Tshirts and textiles for the Occupation, FOR FREE! On site!
We are screeners and graphic artists who design and donate this work. We’re bringing our ink and designs to live print. For the really, REALLY free shop, we’ll be featuring occu-apparel that has been upcycled from 2nd hand stores and upscaled by printing our designs on them.
We’ll also be doing a skill share, showing people how to screenprint.
Where can I see it? In Bryant Park in the AM, and at Union Square from 2pm to 4pm
How can I help? We need YOU to bring us something of yours to print. Also, if you have access to second hand clothing for our upcycled shop (think blank items made of natural fibers) please bring them for the sharing. We also need volunteers to wrangle the printing, and we need donation of blank tshirts, water-based textile ink, old towels torn into rags to clean screens, and printable fabric.
