‎"The artist who takes up revolution will quickly realize that creation and revolution are inseparable entities!" ~ Pablo Picasso

On May 1st, 2012, everyone in New York who leaves their house or looks out their window will see public art as part of an historic MayDay celebration. Here are just some of the projects underway, with details about where you can see them and how you can participate in their creation.

May Day schedule / email inquiries / submit a project / volunteer to participate / offer materials (art supplies, workspace, etc) / facebook / planners mailing list / maydaynyc.org

Singer/songwriter Jessy Tomsko - http://www.jessytomsko.com/
What is it? Jessy Tomsko is a guitar-playing, singer-songwriting, tree-hugging, puppy-kissing, yoga-loving kinda girl. With her heartfelt lyrics and self-penned melodies, she celebrates life and love with her acoustic guitar, brought to life on the many stages, subway platforms, and rooftops of New York City.
Where can I see her? Jessy will be serenading our morning convergence in Bryant Park.
