On May 1st, 2012, everyone in New York who leaves their house or looks out their window will see public art as part of an historic MayDay celebration. Here are just some of the projects underway, with details about where you can see them and how you can participate in their creation.
The Naturalization Service
What is it? The Naturalization Service is offering free (notarized?) re-birth certificates on May Day 2012. Re-birth certificates are artworks and documents affirming world citizenry, global solidarity, and the personal right to freedom and choice.
Where can I see it? In Bryant Park, from 10am-2pm
