On May 1st, 2012, everyone in New York who leaves their house or looks out their window will see public art as part of an historic MayDay celebration. Here are just some of the projects underway, with details about where you can see them and how you can participate in their creation.
![Occupy Transformation
What is it? Collaborate with artist Riva Weinstein by taking photos and/or videos of the project, and/or wearing the Shamanic Shape Shifting Mask yourself. Made from reclaimed aseptic cartons to transform consumer packaging into sacred art, to inspire wonder and awareness.
Where can I see it? Walking from 28th Street and 3rd Avenue to 48th Street and 3rd Avenue 9am to 9:30am.
Midtown, between 48th and 49th on 3rd Avenue between 12:30 and 1:30.
