Free art from Molly Crabapple
What is it? Free art prints from the archives of Molly Crabapple, an NYC artist who has contributed enormous amounts to several Occupy projects, including the iconic MayDay General Strike poster above. Her new series, The Shell Game, is a year-long, crowdsourced project to create an art show about the world financial collapse, and the people who have risen up in protest against it.

The Spark - http://www.projectxixax.com/
What is it? “The Spark” was a projection project designed to protest the theft of taxpayer money by the banks and to raise awareness of the ability to use art and poetry in public spaces in reliance on the First Amendment freedoms. An often heard question, even from Americans while projecting was “do you have a permit,” to which I readily responded, “Yes, the First Amendment.”
After a hiatus to reassess the projected art and words, Project Xixax is back and will be helping to promote joy and the refusal of austerity and the hateful and boring policies of both republicans and democrats. It’s Time to Dance on the graveyard of wall street!
Where can I see it? On the corner of Bleeker and Lafayette, 8:30 to 10:30 pm.
How can I help? Come watch, and document!
